FW Denim, Rebuilt:

There is an easy way to do denim, which is to put out new shapes every season and hope one lands. This was not that.

"My approach to product has always been about building a wardrobe. As consumers, we like routine and ease. When we find a fit to love, we want to know we can come back and find it again."

"Sometimes good product development is knowing what to leave alone, what needs fixing and where you can push harder."
- Toni Purdie, head of Mainline design at REPRESENT.

So nothing here was changed for the sake of it. The favourite stayed. Some fits were tweaked, one was rebuilt properly, and some were left alone entirely.

Inside Each Denim Design:

Heaton Denim

A straight leg with added volume toward the hem, built on a custom fit and worn constantly by George and Michael Heaton. It works, so it has not been touched.

"There was absolutely no reason to reinvent it. Instead, we're building around it."

What has changed is how you can wear it. A clean hem now sits alongside the let-down hem, which gives you the same jean and the same fit in a more pared-back finish. The Authentic Blue wash stays exactly as people know it. Diffused Black is where the season pushes, a veined, worn-through treatment that gives black denim real highs and lows without relying on rips or heavy destruction.

"Lock the fit, then let the washes change the personality."

Baggy Jeans

The R3 was revised into a proper 90s baggy fit, and the reference was real. It came from our denim designer's own archive, a pair with the shape that only happens after years of wear.

The fit was the easy part. The obsession went into recreating the character. A properly lived-in wash in Moss Blue with a green tint, knees busted clean through, and a hem destroyed the way denim goes when it has been dragging along the floor.

"We didn't want neat little factory rips placed in obvious positions. The damage needed to make sense."

Loose, long, and cut to stack over the shoe. It should look better slightly beaten up.

Carpenter Jeans

This one needed an overhaul. The block was rebuilt rather than reimagined: the leg slimmed slightly, the rise reworked, the branding cleaned up.

The workwear detailing is all still there, the knee panels and the utility elements, but the proportions stop it tipping over.

"It's a jean first, carpenter second."

Mid-rise with a loose upper, falling into a baggy leg that breaks naturally over the shoe.

The Trucker over the top:

The Trucker Jacket is the one genuinely new silhouette, approached with the same logic as the jeans: get the shape right before trying to make it clever.

It is boxy enough to read as ours, with a shorter body and a dropped shoulder, but it deliberately stops short of being enormous.

Done in the signature Authentic Blue, with enough movement in the wash to give it character, finished with the R initial brushed silver trim and a leather back patch.

"The kind of denim jacket that should still make sense in five years."
- George Heaton Co Founder at Represent.
