Russ Cook Joins Team 247
TEAM 247 x HARDEST GEEZER
We're thrilled to announce that Russ Cook, aka "Hardest Geezer," has officially joined TEAM 247.
This partnership represents everything TEAM 247 stand for, uncompromising performance, mental fortitude, and the relentless pursuit of what others would call impossible.
Russ carries the same element that each of our team of 247 Athletes carry, ON A MISSION, till the end of time.
PUSHING LIMITS
Russ has a catalogue of achievements under his belt that TEAM 247 have previously been apart of pushing our activewear to the extreme.
The narrative now puts him into a team enviroment to not only push himself but that team and those who represent the 247 ethos.
RUNNING AFRICA
Russ tested his endurance to the limit, becoming the first athlete to run the entire length of Africa from the southernmost to the northernmost point of the continent as part of Project Africa.
The journey covered 16,300km over 352 days. 385 marathons back-to-back through the Namib Desert, the Sahara, and the Congolian rainforest.
The Hardest Geezer raised over £800,000 for charity and redefined what's possible in endurance athletics.
ACROSS NEW ZEALAND
Running an average of 33 miles daily through mountainous terrain, Russ took on New Zealand, running the complete length of both islands over 73 days. The 2,500+ kilometre journey was an extreme ultra-marathon feat that proved Russ really is the Hardest Geezer with a physical and mental resilience that operates like no other.
247 MISSION: ICELAND
Finally the Hardest Geezer saw himself with our team of elite athletes to conquer ice within 48 hours. 607km across Iceland, 247 MISSION: ICELAND was a new format for Russ who usually takes these endurance runs alone, this 247 TEAM worked in a relay, testing the new 247 FW25 collection to the extreme.
